Salim Kumar won the National Award.

Malayalam actor Salim Kumar declared the Best Actor of the 58th National Film Awards. Salim Kumar shared this award with Dhanush. Salim Kumar won this award for the malayalam movie "Adaminte Makan Abu" and Dhanush got this award for Tamil movie "Aadukalam".


                                Malayalam Movie "Adaminte Makan Abu" directed by Salim Ahmed also won the National Award for best feature film. Madhu Ambat won the best cinematographer for the same movie. Issac Thomas Kottukapally won the best background score for this malayalam movie.
