Review : "Theevram"
Dulquer Salmaan's latest offering malayalam movie "Theevram" remains the story that you came across many times, but Director Roopesh Peethambaran's presentation style that provide some strength to the proceedings. "Theevram" interest you quickly with the expectation in the first half, but in the second half it came down with the same speed. At last "Theevram" seems to be a decent one and watchable......
Allright, Investigation is on with S.I. Alexander (Sreenivasan), a police officer, is on the crime spot to scratch out some evidence with his assistant played by Vinay Fort. Unlike his assistant, Alexander doesn't interested in hurting the accused to prove a case and as the people around him believe in his ability. Things all get messy with
the second murder. Here we have a mystery man....
It now goes through Harshavardhan's (Dulquer Salmaan) life, who loves music despite being a medical student and earns his own by giving music lessons to kids and deals out lonely in his home. Now investigation leads to the life of Harshavardhan in the second half and shows his hard life, love and struggle forms the rest of the part of the story.
Director Roopesh Peethambaran starts off in a interesting way with the thrilling pace, may be the projection of some sequences effected in the negative side, especially in the second half with the suspense is already revealed in the first half. Dulquer Salmaan again catch to be on a modern character and as usual at his best. Rest. Sreenivasan and Anu Mohan made a good contribution with their respective characters. Debut girl Shikha Nair has not get too much space to perform, whilie Riya Saira, Vishnu Mohan, Janardhanan, Vinay Fort and others just made up to their characters.
Hari Nair's visual looks at the good level with extent to the modern narration. Kapil Balakrishnan's cuts define some pretty well moments in the first half. Roby Abraham's tunes are fine with the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahamed and Arun K.Narayanan. V.C.I Movies Banner, V.C.Ismayil produced this malayalam movie "Theevram" has been distributed by L.J.Films.
