Dileep and Manju Warrier to file divorce petition with mutual consent
Update - As we mentioned yesterday, Dileep and Manju Warrier on Thursday (July 24) filed a joint plea for divorce at Ernakulam Family Court. With this Dileep's earlier petition stands withdrawn. Now new hearing will take place on January 27, 2015.
In the court premises, Manju Warrier was accompanied by her brother Madhu Warrier. In the plea, actress asserts that she does not want any alimony from Dileep and daughter Meenakshi can decide with whom she wants to live.
Dileep and Manju Warrier have reportedly decided to file joint divorce petition with mutual consent. On Wednesday(July 23) was their first hearing after actor Dileep had earlier filed divorce petition with Ernakulam Family Court. Both star of tinsel town haven't made it to the hearing and now it has been shifted for the next date August 16.
Manju and Dileep have been living separately for the past one year and
later actor had decided to file for divorce on June 5th this year. His petition had been accepted under section 13 (1), 1 A of Hindu Marriage act, which says the person treated with cruelty can seek divorce from spouse. Dileep also seeks court's favour not to reveal any details of this case to media till court's last verdict.
Reports were also that Manju Warrier has taken a stand on the property dispute and their joint property will be remain with Dileep. The actor has also approached Thrissur and Ernakulam Family Court with caveat petition, if in case of Manju move forward with legal proceedings. In which decision would be taken after hearing Dileep's part as well.
