Review : "Bombay March 12".
"Bombay March 12" is the malayalam movie which released in theatres on June 30 and based on the serial blast which rocked the Mumbai in 1993. This movie is also the directorial debut of the Script Writer Babu Janardhanan. Its a watchable movie and one could say Babu Janardhanan hit the right button with this malayalam movie.
"Bombay March 12" unveil the character of Sanathana Bhatt, a priest enacted by Mammootty, who changed his religion to Islam and named Sameer. He used to work as Sweeper in Municipal Corporation. His life was on the wrong side with some misconception, whenever there were some conspiracy of terror attack or some kind of problems like that, Police make his shot for the Sameer, because he is on the list of suspect with the police. Sameer is married to Abida which is performed by Roma Asrani.
Story move with the flash back of some revelation about Sameer's brother in law, Shahjahan summarised by Unni Mukundan, was suspected in the Bombay serial blast and after some time, Shahjahan was encountered in Andhra Pradesh by Army. Shahjahan was the hope of that family, which was never thought about their son would land in this group. Shahjahan moved to Bombay for the IT Job and later this innocent guy crooked in this terror plot. Sameer and Abida supposed to know something about this bomb blast and that make their life miserable in many ways.
Along with Mammookka, Roma, Unni Mukundan, there were Lal, Shari, Sadiq, V.K.Sreeraman, Jayakumar, Maniyan Pilla Raju, Kochupreman, Irshad and others who made their valuable part in this malayalam movie. "Bombay March 12" is slated to release in Andhra and Tamil Nadu with the dubbed version. Cinematography is nicely catched by Vipin Mohan and so do in the editing area Vijay Shankar made his best. This movie's Background is designed by Prashant Pillai and Music is composed by Afzal Yusuf for the lyrics of Rafeeque Ahamed. "Chakaramavin Kombathu" sung by Sonu Nigam is making waves among the music lovers. Sonu Nigam attempted his first malayalam song with this malayalam movie "Bombay March 12". Earlier Sonu Nigam sang a Hindi song for the movie "Kandahar".
Babu Janardhanan scripted and storied this malayalam movie is produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations and Red Rose Release bring this movie to the theatres for all cinema lovers and Mammookka fans.
