Tribute : Mohan Raghavan left us.................

1964 - 2011
Few days were past when lyrics writer and poet Mullanezhi was lost by malayalam cinema and now there one more sorrow news for the malayalam film lovers Director Mohan Raghavan died on 25th october, 2011 at the age of 47 and left us with the few films he had given to the malayalam cinema.


                              On 25th oct, following a pain in his chest hospitalized Mohan Raghavan wasn't survive the fight for life. He was born on 1964 in Thrissur, Kerala. A fond lover of art Mohan Raghavan studied at the School Of Drama at Thrissur and Theatre Arts at Madurai Kamaraj University. In the decade of 90's Mohan made his marks in the television serials
as script writer and later on to the national level with his short film "Diary of a House Wife".


                                      When Mohan Raghavan turn to the malayalam cinema, he also finds time for the dramas at the theatre level as he had worked with noted artiste and directors like Kavalam Narayana Panicker, B.V.Karanth, John Martin and others as well. His directed plays include "Antigone", "Macbeth" and "Waiting for Godot and Woyzeck". In malayalam films he worked for the films like "Kanmashi" and "Nammal Thammil". In 2010, Mohan Raghavan debut as a director with the movie "T.D.Dasan Standard VI B", which won him the Kerala State Award for Best Debut Director and Also movie bestowed with the Golden Pheasant Award for best film at International Film Festival Of Kerala. "T.D.Dasan Standard VI B" was showcased at many film festivals include Shanghai International Film Festival.
