"Urumi" steal Kariat Awards.

Malayalam movie "Urumi" got the Ramu Kariat award for Best Film, announced by Chairman of the award jury Director Siddique. Ramu Kariat Award is bestowed as part of the Nattika Beach Festival. Prithviraj bag the award of Best actor, while Kavya Madhavan gets the award of Best Actress.


                                  Apart the from that Ranjith won the best director for "Indian Rupee" and Script by Anoop Menon for "Beautiful" won
him the Best Script Writer. Manjari and Engendiyoor Chandrashekharan also won best singer and best lyricist awards respectively for "Urumi". Ajayan Vincent claimed the Best Cinematographer for "Sevenes", Ranjan Abraham for Best Editing in "Manikyakallu".


                                          Santosh Sivan directed "Urumi" stayed top at the Ramu Kariat Awards.
