Director Sasimohan is no more

Malayalam film director Sasimohan left us to the heavenly abode on today (oct.1) around 4 am at his residence in Kodambakkam, Chennai. He was 56, known as Dinesan among his followers and he was under treatment for some liver related problem.

    This Kannur native began his film career by becoming associates to Director A.B.Raj and later on his association with Hariharan, I.V.Sasi and Sashikumar was notable. "Chuvannu Kannukal" started his journey as director in malayalam movies, which later on turn to "Noottonnu Raavukal", "Mukkilla Rajyathu Murimookan Rajavu", "Miss India" and "Thilakam" include the some. His Tamil films are "Maapillai Vandhachu" and "Bhadrakalliamman" include the best one.

        He had tried his hands in production as well by producing few films and He was survived by wife Sriranjini and children Vishnu and Sreebala.
