P.K.Venukuttan Nair is no more
Theatre Artiste and yesteryear film actor P.K.Venukuttan Nair passed away on Monday (Nov.26) at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. At the age of 81, He was hospitalized for long with the treatment of Hemophilia and Diabetes. As per the reports, Family even didn't have the enough money to bear his treatment in the final stage.
P.K.Venukuttan Nair was the vice president of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. A professional theatre artiste, who won many awards at the state
level competition, which includes the P.J.Antony Award in 2003. He served his service as a drama teacher in Calicut University. His theatre stint include with the greats like G.K.Sankara Pillai and C.N.Sreekandan Nair.
His few malayalam films include "Swayamvaram" in 1972, "Swapnadanam" in 1976, "Ulkadal" in 1978, "Oru Cheru Punchiree" in 2000.
