Exclusive : Nedumudi Venu to don Anton Chekhov !
Malayalam actor Nedumudi Venu has all set to adapt the character of famous Russian dramaturge and author Anton Chekhov. Film journalist and Documentary filmmaker Kiran Ravindran initiated the process of adapting Anton Chekhov's short story and play "The Bet" into his next Malayalam movie "Pandayam", which will have Nedumudi Venu doing the lead character.
Anton Chekhov has considered as the great short story writer in the history of Russia
and his short story "The Bet" revolve around a banker and a lawyer, who goes on to bet on their own opinion. Kiran Ravindran's film will have Ravi Vallothal doing the character of banker and the lawyers character would be enacted by Deepu.
"Pandayam" is in its developing stage and its other details are on the way. Singer Arundhathi and Hariharan's daughter Charu Hariharan will compose the music for this movie. As per the reports Harharan's lyrics will get the voice of Arundhati as well.
Nedumudi Venu has added another feather to his cap and with his vast experience in the Malayalam industry, it would be interesting to see how he will portray his character.
