"Kalimannu" controversy shows no signs of relief !

As of now, it looks every Keralite may know about this controversial Malayalam movie "Kalimannu" because its more of in news before it is being completed. Now when the movie is all set for the release and has been censored by CBFC Board with no cuts, despite that this films controversy spot doesn't look to fade away as Exhibitors federation have threatened to block the movie's release.

 The release date was earlier decided to be in August first week, but with ongoing proceedings makers have made the shift to August 23rd. Recently the center attraction of "Kalimannu",
who allowed her pregnancy to get filmed on camera, reacted to the films release by saying that the people who are protesting against this Malayalam movie should respect the decision of censor board. There is no signs of disrespecting woman's self respect in any manner in this movie. Also she takes a dig at those who have no issues with women's showed as sex bombs and when it comes to the normal life process filming, it won't acceptable to them.

 Blessy, who had directed the movie "Pranayam" and after that he began the process of "Kalimannu", since then the movie came to controversy after political leaders have criticized the actress for presenting herself before the camera during the delivery period. The film shoot had begun last year and goes on with the delivery of Shwetha Menon, who gave birth to the baby girl.

 "Kalimannu" will star Shwetha Menon, Biju Menon, Suhasini, Prashanth Nair and others in cast, there would be special appearances from Bollywood star Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan in the movie. Cherummuttadathu Films banner, Thomas Thiruvalla is the producer of this movie and the cinematography works has performed by Satheesh Kurup. Music has been tuned by M Jayachandran with the lyrics of O N V Kurup. Well one would have to wait to see, whether this movie will release on time or not....
