"North 24 Kaatham" Malayalam movie review

The sulky guy travel miles to bring on the real impact that "North 24 Kaatham" is clean sure shot movie among the Onam releases. Conventional characters, the situations, story, direction and almost everything fit perfectly to speak loudly that 'we have done it'..., Anil Radhakrishnan Menon weave on the brilliant gem around the biggest stamp on Kerala.., Harthaal...., Set on your preference now.., don't miss this one....

 The protagonist Harikrishnan (Fahadh Faasil), who works for an MNC in Kochi as a Software developer. His personality
shadows obsessive compulsive disorder and always look around for cleanliness. He trust more on hygiene, even when his job is on stake. His companions also not find him on the pleasing side and they tries to avoid him. Here Harikrishnan goes on for a trip to Thiruvanathapuram with his office work, where he have to give presentation on the software that he had designed.

 There he pick on the train by night to Thiruvananthapuram and on a fateful day, State has been put under the so-called popular Bandh. By this day Harkrishnan was force to travel the other side of the state to help an old politician Gopalettan (Nedumudi Venu) and on this Journey they get accompanied by Narayani (Swati Reddy), who works for an NGO in Thiruvananthapuram. Characters perspective to reach their destination and how it affects the life of Harikrishnan, takes you to the rest of this movie.

 Man..., what to say about the superstar Fahadh Faasil, he was just awesome and the way he rendered his shoddy character made this narration a lovable one. Nedumudi Venu and Swati Reddy equally bring on the charm for their respective characters and deserves the special mention. Chemban Vinod, Premgi Amaren, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sreenath Bhasi, Srinda Ashab, Deepak Nathan and others have justified their characters pretty well. Good hands by music director Govind P Menon to bring on the theme alive, where the lyrics have written by Rafeeque Ahamed.

 The passion shows here and debut director Anil Radhakrishnan Menon takes his time to nurture the script in distinctive level. Story caters every ingredients that generates through strike, of which peoples have become used to. Technical department bring on the versatile approach, especially the cinematography from Jayesh Nair and the editing has done by Dilip, was spot on. Here the short duration of just above two hours also helps the movie to traverse smoothly through destination. For the banner of E4 Entertainment, C V Sarathi is the producer of this film.
