Case against Zachariah's Garbhinikal !

Zachariah's Garbhinikal has now find themselves in new trouble and the reports are coming that a case has been registered against this movie and the additional district court has accepted the case for the hearings. A native from Thrissur has filed this petition before the court. From now on makers have to wait to sell movie's satellite rights as the court has ordered the stay.

 Well the whole matter is about copyright, where Tony Malliakal from Thrissur claims to hold the copyright of short
story "Moovanthi" by P Padmarajan and he had bought the publishing rights from his wife K Y Radhalakshmi. "Moovanthi" was written by Padmarajan in 1970 and then after his death filmmaker's wife had signed up an agreement with Tony Malliakal. The same short story has been shown in the recently released Malayalam film "Zachariyayude Garbhinikal" in the animation format, which turns up the battle between Tony Malliakal and makers of this new movie.

 "Zachariyayude Garbhinikal" is being produced under the banner of Friday Film House by Sandra Thomas, Vijay Babu and Thomas Joseph Pattathanam, while the movie unfolds the life of five different pregnant women and a gynaecologist. The notices have been sent to makers including director Aneesh Anwar and with effect of this makers are won't allow to sell the satellite rights.
