IFFI to have 6 Malayalam films in Indian Panorama
This year brings on more occasion to celebrate in Malayalam cinema and the latest news is International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to feature six Malayalam film in Indian Panorama section, which will take place at Goa. This film festival will take place from November 20 and around 42 films will be showcased in this years festival. It's a record six Malayalam movies have selected for this year's IFFI.
Six Malayalam movies are Shyama Prasad directed "Artist",
Joy Mathew's "Shutter", Kamal directed "Celluloid", Salim Ahamed directed "Kunjhananthante Kada", Sidharth Siva's "101 Chodyangal" and last one is "Kanyaka Talkies" directed by K R Manoj. Among this six movies, "Kanyaka Talkies" will be the premiere movie which will get the opening in Indian Panorama. On the other, Non feature section has Prasanna Ramaswamy's "Lights on Adoor Gopalakrishnan", Vipin Vijay's "Vishaparvam" and Babu Kambrath's "Behind the mist" in the competition.
