Manju Warrier not in Bejoy Nambiar's "Koodevide" remake

There were the reports in some of online sites that actress Manju Warrier has all set to enter the steps of Bollywood with Bejoy Nambiar's remake of cult classic "Koodevide", which was written and directed by one of the pioneers of Malayalam cinema, Padmarajan. But now, V Priya, who supposed to direct this remake, has turned down the news about actress.

 After assisting leading director Mani Ratnam, V Priya confirmed the reports of remake and also clarifies that "There is nothing has finalized on cast other than Prithviraj, who will play the lead character and
all other news about this are just false". It was reported that Manju will portray the character of that was done by Suhasini in the original. This new version will be produced by Bejoy Nambiar.

 1983 released "Koodevide" was produced by Prem Prakash and it marked the debut of actor Rahman. Today's well known director Shaji N Karun had cranked the camera for this movie. Mammootty, Suhasini, Sukumari, Jose Prakash and others had played the major characters.
