Rimi Tomy's character suits comedy, not as judge on reality show : Ranjini Haridas

Malayalam small screen has been buzzed up with an interview given by actress and television host Renjini Haridas to a Malayalam daily portal. This time she takes a dig on her best friend and singer Rimi Tomy, who now host and judge this reality show "Star Singer" new season, which was earlier anchored by Ranjini Haridas.

 She disagreed with the concept that reality show judges would also host this
program "Star Singer", where Ranjini has worked for five seasons. "Even I have a doubt on Star Singer show's value as it is leaning towards more on comedy. I think entrance of Rimi Tomy in the show is not perfect, she is more favourable to comedy and 'Star Singer' is a serious show", she asserts.

 "Rimi Tomy is more apt to comedy shows like 'Onnum Onnum Moonu'. She is a good performer and knows how to carry herself on the stage. I also admire her, but to judge a musical reality show is not her cup of tea", says Ranjini.

 Ranjini opened up on many aspects of show including M G Sreekumar and how "Star Singer" played a crucial role in bringing her to the limelight.....
