Shashi Tharoor to try some acting in Malayalam !

MP from Thiruvanathapuram constituency, Shashi Tharoor is all set to become an actor. If the reports are to be believed, adaptation of Karoor Neelakanta Pillai's short story 'Pothichoru' to visual medium, will provide a platform for this politician and writer to act. Rajeev Nath will direct this film and it has been titled as "Onnam Sir".

 As per the reports, first phase of discussions have
held with producers and if everything sets with schedule then movie's shoot will begin within next two months. As subject here 'Pothichoru' considered as one of the finest works in Malayalam language, so there would be special treatment, when it comes to silver screen.

 Earlier there were rumours that Mohanlal has been signed up to do the lead, but later Rajeev Nath himself declined reports. While director is currently busy with post production works of "Rasam" Malayalam movie.

 It has happened vice versa, normally actors become politicians, but here case is different with Shashi Tharoor.....
