"Mariyam Mukku" shoot begins, Sana Althaf to do female lead

James Albert's first directorial film "Mariyam Mukku" shoot began at the location of Thankassery beach in Kollam. Another twist now is that newcomer Sana Althaf has replaced earlier announced Hima Davis in the female lead. She will enact the character 'Salomi' opposite Fahadh Faasil, who is in the lead role.

 Although, it will not be the first time for Sana on the silver screen, she has
acted in Lal Jose film "Vikramadithyan" as Dulquer Salmaan's younger sister. Apart from that she also host music programme in Surya Music channel. Interestingly L J Films have also involved in this project as distributor.

 The plot concentrates on the life of a fisherman in the village titled 'Mariyam Mukku'. Nedumudi Venu, Sreenivasan, Thiagarajan, Aju Varghese, Tini Tom, Irshaad, Sadikh, Seema G Nair and others include the cast. Other locations of this film are Kappil and Vizhinjam.
