Salim Kumar won first step against Award jury

The Kerala High Court has given a decision, which came up with a good news for Salim Kumar. Earlier actor had filed a writ petition challenging the Kerala State Award committee functioning. Chalachitra Academy have to present all the documents connected with awards to the court.

 Now Best Film's decision would be decided by
High Court. In the petition, Salim Kumar alleged that jury chairman Bharathiraaja haven't seen all the films considered for the award category. Salim produced film "Moonam Naal Njayarazhcha" was also competed in the State Awards. As per him, the film wasn't seen by jury chairman.

 Scenarist T A Razak directed film "Moonam Naal Njayarazhcha" discuss the story of people, who are forced to convert their religion because of their living circumstances. Salim Kumar, Jagadeesh, Babu Antony, Kochupreman, Sudheer Karmana, Jyothi Krishna, Thesni Khan and others worn the character's mask for this film.
