Aashiq Abu's "Rani Padmini" - A women-centric film

Well don't get confused with actress name of 80's, it is Aashiq Abu's next directorial film and it has been titled as "Rani Padmini". Guess what, two favourite heroines Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal will appear in the lead character. A women-centric road movie and reports suggest that it will have no male lead.

 It is about two strangers Rani and Padmini, who have different aims. Their
journey to explore life and experiences, are the theme. It will also have flavour of thrilling element as well. Rani and Padmini's character will be enacted by Rima Kallingal and Manju Warrier respectively. Shyam Pushkaran has prepared the script.

 The shoot of this flick is expected to begin soon and the locations are Delhi, Kochi and Himachal Pradesh.

 Meanwhile director's last attempt "Gangster" hadn't gave desired results. Earlier Aashiq had also announced project "Oppana", with his wife Rima in the lead.
