Director Madhu Kaithapram is no more

1970 - 2014.

Malayalam filmmaker Madhu Kaithapram passed away yesterday (Dec.29) at a private hospital in Kozhikode. He was 44 and hospitalized after having health problem related to diabetes. The National Film Award winning director died on Monday night and the cremation will took place at his home town on Tuesday.

 Madhu Kaithapram entered the league of director's with the movie "Ekantham" in
2006. Before he had worked as assistant to Malayalam film director Jayaraj. He was known for his aim for good films, but at the same time he was dismayed with the response that good movies get. He received National Film Award of best debut director for his film "Ekantham".

 "Madhya Venal" in 2009, "Orma Mathram" in 2011 and "Velli Velichathil" in 2014 are the Malayalam movies, he had directed in his career.
